About Us

Camp Sol is a non-profit organization that provides support to families who have experienced the death of a child.  Services benefit families who have children eighteen years old or younger remaining in the home.  All services are free to families and their children.

Few families know what to expect or what to do when their child dies, and are often at a loss as to how to help themselves or their children.  In 1999, bereaved parents along with medical and mental health professionals came together to create a board with a mission to “heal the family heart” through a supportive, warm environment where grieving families share experiences and participate in a variety of fun and nurturing activities specifically designed for families.

Camp Sol has several events throughout the year for you to attend with your family.

If you would like to become a Camp Sol volunteer please fill out the volunteer application form. If you are interested in receiving additional information or would like to be included on our mailing list, please contact us.

“I think kids need to get their feelings out, and Camp Sol is a fun place to do it.” – Sharley, Camp Sol parent
