Family Retreat Weekend
Time: Twice per year in Spring and Fall
Camp Sol hosts families at Camp John Marc in Meridian, Texas. The retreat encourages families to connect with other grieving families as well as heal together through their experiences with each other. The retreat also incorporates support groups, a memorial service, and traditional camp activities to facilitate family bonding. Many families state that this weekend helps them to learn how to have fun again as a family.
The forms to attend the weekend retreat can be found below in the forms section. Please return your forms by Mid February to attend to March retreat, and Mid September to attend the October retreat.

Holiday Gathering
Time: Late november or Early December, Yearly
Camp Sol hosts an event during the most difficult time of the year for families who have experienced the death of a child. A holiday lunch is provided, as well as, therapeutic activities, a memorial service and support groups all with the intent to support family relationships.

Back To School
Time: August, Yearly
Camp Sol hosts an event to facilitate families as they transition back to school. Families have lunch together and engage in family activities, educational seminars, and support groups for both parents and children.
