Few families know what to expect or what to do when their child dies, and are at a loss as to how to help themselves or their children. In 1999, bereaved parents along with medical and mental health professionals came together to create a board with a mission to “heal the family heart” through a supportive, warm environment where grieving families share experiences and participate in a variety of fun and nurturing activities specifically designed for families.
CAMP SOL is a non-profit organization that provides support to families who have experienced the death of a child. Services benefit families who have children 18 or younger remaining in the home. All services are free to families and their children.
CAMP SOL has several events throughout the year for you to attend with your family. Please visit "Our Programs" page for more information.
If you would like to become a CAMP SOL volunteer or be on our mailing list please go to our "Contact Us" page and call or send us an email.
