Lesley Lingnell, MS, MEd, LPS-S, RPT
Board Position: Executive Director/Founder of Camp Sol
Job Title: Clinical Therapist/Play Therapist

Bio: Lesley Lingnell is a licensed professional counselor and registered play therapist.  She has been employed at Children’s Medical Center for the past 17 years, specializing in the needs of chronic and terminally ill children.  As co-founder of Camp Sol Inc., she has served a variety of roles within the organization and is currently the Executive Director.  Lesley has presented on play therapy and grief issues throughout the country.  On a personal note, Lesley lives in Dallas, TX, with her husband and two children.

Laura B. Chelf
Board Position: President
Job Title: Account Manager

Bio: Laura joined the Camp Sol Board in 2008.  Laura received her B.B.A. in Political Science from Ouachita Baptist University.  After graduation she served as a Lieutenant in the US Army’s 35 Signal Brigade.  Following her service, she entered began her business career in Sales for Walter Lorenz Surgical. She has 16 years experience in Sales and Business Development.  Currently working for Avery Dennison as an Account Manager, Laura resides in Southlake, TX with her husband Phil, and 2 children, Andy and Zachary.

Charlotte Allison
Board Position: Vice President – Marketing/Public Relations
Job Title: Account Manager/Business Development, Clear Channel Radio

Bio: Charlotte Allison comes to Camp Sol with 20 plus years in the live entertainment world, primarily focused on Sales and Marketing throughout her career.  While working with the Memphis Grizzlies and opening FedExForum in Memphis Tennessee, provided Allison with hands on experience around the construction and funding of the Memphis Grizzlies House, the first housing facility located on the St. Jude’s campus.  Additionally, she has had the opportunity to work with many non-profit organizations including Big Brothers, Big Sisters, North Texas Food Bank, United Way, to name a few.  Charlotte attended Stephen F Austin, a graduate of the Leadership Memphis program, a native Texan and is married, has two wonderful children and enjoying her first granddaughter!

Ralph Carreon
Board Position: Board Member
Job Title: Sr. Analyst, Revenue Management and Pricing, Southwest Airlines Co.

Bio: Ralph has been volunteering with Camp Sol since November 2009 and has been on the board since April 2010.  Ralph is a Sr. Analyst with Southwest Airlines and has 15 years of airline experience with Southwest and with American Airlines.  Ralph is a graduate of the University of Dallas with a Math degree.  He was introduced to Camp Sol by his wife, Alana, as she volunteers with Camp Sol being a Licensed Professional Counseling Intern and a Music Therapy Graduate Student. Ralph and Alana also have two lovely Pekinese dogs, Jakobi and Sandman.

William Giger
Board Position: Vice President
Job Title: Tenet Healthcare – Program Management Coordinator

Bio: William Giger is an operations and project manager with 16 years of experience in the telecommunications industry and currently in the healthcare industry.  In November 2006, William’s family (his wife Noel and children Calvin & Jordan) lost their 3 month old son/brother, Ian Westley Giger, to SIDS.  They were given information about Camp Sol by a Children’s Medical Center Life Counselor and attended the March 2007 Camp Sol Family Retreat.  The first year was really tough, but for the first time since Ian’s death, they felt like people really understood how they felt. It was very helpful to talk with families that were further in their grief process and shared a hope for the future.  They had been coming to Camp Sol events for 4 years and decided that they wanted to do more to support an organization that supports “Healing the Family Heart”, so William volunteered to join the board.  William and his family, Noel, Calvin (12), Jordan (9), Gavin (2), and Aaron (born 12/30/2010) miss Ian, but have found the smiles again and look forward to future Camp Sol events and helping other family’s find their new “Normal” and see the “Hope” for the future.

Tisha Ghormley
Board Position: Director
Job Title: Homemaker/Retired Attorney

Bio: Tisha has volunteered at Children’s Medical Center-Dallas since 2004 and has served on the Children’s Medical Center Board of Trustees, Volunteer Auxiliary Board and Women’s Auxiliary.  Tisha is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin at Madison with a bachelor of arts in political science and communication arts.  Tisha received her law degree from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law.  Tisha is not currently practicing law.  Instead, she devotes her time to her husband and three children.

Adam DeYoung
Board Position: Treasurer
Job Title: Vice President, Finance – Morgan Stanley

Bio: Mr. DeYoung has served on the Board of Directors of Camp Sol since 2007 and currently holds the position of Treasurer.  Mr. DeYoung brings more than 13 years of finance and accounting experience to the organization most recently with Morgan Stanley as Vice President of Finance.  In this position, Mr. DeYoung is responsible for all corporate finance, planning, budgeting and forecasting for Morgan Stanley’s U.S. residential mortgage servicing division.  Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Mr. DeYoung held management roles at Centex Corporation including Vice President of Strategic Planning and Valuation and Vice President of Capital Markets for their subprime mortgage company.  In these roles, Mr. DeYoung was responsible for corporate and asset valuations, asset acquisitions, securitizations, secondary marketing and fixed income investor relations.  Prior to Centex, Mr. DeYoung held capital markets and finance positions at AmeriCredit and Citigroup.  Mr. DeYoung received his B.B.A. in Finance from Texas Tech University and currently resides in Colleyville, TX with his wife and three children.

Julie N. Germann, Ph.D.
Board Position: Secretary
Job Title: Pediatric Psychologist

Bio: Julie N. Germann, Ph.D. is a licensed pediatric psychologist.  She has worked at Children’s Medical Center Dallas for 2 years as the psychologist for the Oncology and Stem Cell Transplant teams.  Dr. Germann has 14 years of experience working with pediatric populations on issues of adjusting to illness, coping, adherence, and making positive lifestyle changes.  She began volunteering at Camp Sol just over one year ago.  Prior to relocating to Dallas in 2008, Julie lived in Chicago where she served as the clinical director of a weight management program for children at La Rabida Children’s Hospital.  Julie resides in Dallas with her husband.

Lisa Jones, MA, MT-BC, GC-C
Board Position: Programming Representative
Job Title: Music Therapist, Grief Counselor

Bio: Lisa Jones, MA, MT-BC, GC-C serves as the Programming Co-Director of Camp Sol, and is a board certified music therapist and certified grief counselor at Children’s Medical Center-Dallas and Faith Presbyterian Hospice.  Lisa has worked at Children’s Medical Center-Dallas for the past twelve years, covering the areas of trauma, general pediatrics, renal, cardiology, neurology, and oncology, and currently specializes in palliative care and grief support.  More recently, Lisa has also begun working for Faith Presbyterian Hospice, providing support to families who have children living in the home.  Lisa has presented on music therapy and grief throughout the country and is an American Music Therapy Association National Roster Internship Director.  Prior to working at Children’s, Lisa had a music therapy private practice in Los Angeles, California, and provided services to psychiatric hospitals, geriatric facilities, and individuals with special needs.  On a personal note, Lisa lives in Grapevine, TX with her husband and three children.
